Join me at Cowdray 31 March

Writer: JaneJane

I've been invited back to teach at Cowdray Ruins this time focusing on painting the ruins using watercolours with beginners in mind. If you have never been to this historic location and fancy a morning out in the beautiful Sussex countryside, this is a super opportunity to have a go with watercolours and see the ruins. All materials are included in the booking, see below and you will receive full tuition and demo on how to go about this in simple but effective way.

This will be my second teaching visit, my first was last autumn when I ran two drawing courses in the morning/early afternoon. We used charcoal and had some super results.

Here is a little more about the location:-

The Cowdray Ruins are one of England’s most important early Tudor Houses.

The History of Cowdray Ruins, located on the Cowdray Estate, in the heart of the South Downs National Park, Cowdray is known to have been visited by both King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. In September 1793, whilst undergoing repairs and refurbishments for the impending marriage of the 8th Viscount Montague, a devastating fire took hold and most of the property was destroyed. The Kitchen Tower is the only part of the mansion to remain intact today. Read more https://www.cowdray.co.uk/the-history-of-cowdray-ruins/
